Herb Profile – Rosemary
Rosemary is a hardy evergreen perennial that perfers well-drained soil and a position in full sun.
It makes a great hedging plant and is often used in landscaping as it is drought tolerant.
Rosemary grows well with beans, carrots, cabbage and sage.
Sprigs of Rosemary can be added to pork, lamb and fish and it can also be dried to use in potpourri.
The ancient Greeks believed that Rosemary helped with memory and mental clarity.
